Why Become a Roseland Mentor?

As a mentor, you will be providing essential one-on-one support and guidance to a student as they complete high school and transition to their choice of post-secondary education.

One stable adult in a young persons life can change the entire trajectory of a young persons success and we believe that we owe our successes to the meaningful relationships that are forged with volunteer mentors and staff. - Unknown

Project Overview:
With a mentor, our students have the opportunity to:

  • Accomplish all tasks necessary to apply and enroll in post-secondary education.

  • Be exposed to the world outside of their school and community, to gain life experiences.

  • Obtain the necessary skills to be successful in high school and beyond..

  • Persist successfully through their post-secondary experiences.
