Welcome to the Background Clearance Portal. Here is the Process:

• To minimize cost for this service, the processing fee of $25 must be pre-paid
• Click on the APPLY button at bottom of page
• Click on the organization you are associated with, follow next steps and complete the registration form.
• Once completing the registration form and clicking on SUBMIT you will be asked to pre-pay - Select $25 and complete the debit/credit card information and submit.
• You will receive an email with info to login into your personal dashboard - please note you will use the email address and password that you listed on the registration form to login
• At your dashboard you will download the Live Scan form for fingerprinting and follow other instructions for completing the clearance requirements
• When all requirements are met and reports are received from Calif Dept of Justice and from the FBI showing no criminal history, you will receive by email a Clearance Letter

Also please note that there will be additional costs paid directly to the Live Scan Vendor for fingerprinting
