A Mentor:

• Is a caring adult willing to make a personal commitment to be involved with a student for four to six hours per month for one year….
  
• Serves as a role model and helps a teen make positive choices about his/her personal relationships, education and role in the community. . . .
  
• Is a friend, coach, guide, and helps a student see the importance and relevance of his/her education to career and life goals . . . .
  
• Acts as a resource, helping their student find direction and exposing him/her to career opportunities.

No experience necessary.
